At Tiny Tails Lodge I prioritize providing the best care possible for a simple, all-inclusive nightly rate similar to a hotel. $40/night(+WI tax) is the nightly lodging fee for cats. $75/night(+WI tax) is the nightly rate for small (toy) breed dogs.

I accept payment via cash, check, and credit card. Rest assured, your pet will receive top-notch care and attention without any extra add-ons. While there are a couple of over and beyond enrichment opportunities, those are completely discretionary at the time of booking.

  • Before your pet’s camp stay at Tiny Tails Lodge, there are a few essential details to keep in mind. First, drop-off and pick-up are strictly by appointment only to ensure I can focus appropriately on the pets in my care. While I do aim to be flexible and understanding, it’s essential to communicate any changes to appointment times in advance for the safety and security of all the pets under my care.
  • Additionally, I ask that pet owners supply their pet’s regular diet to reduce any tummy stress or overall stress that can come with a change in diet. If your pet runs out of food, I will make every effort to locate the specific type they are used to, but it’s always helpful to pack a little extra and provide updated feeding instructions. When packing your pet’s food for their stay at Tiny Tails Lodge, I recommend bringing a little extra to ensure they have enough throughout their time here. Please include specific instructions on what you feed your pet to maintain their regular diet. There’s no need to individually package each feeding, but ensuring updated instructions are included is essential. To guarantee accurate feeding, please specify the measurements clearly, as “cup” measurements can vary between different measuring cups. My goal is to ensure that your pet receives the right amount of food and the same care they are accustomed to.
  • Regarding vaccinations, all pets must be current on the required vaccinations, and proof of vaccinations should be provided before their stay. Vaccinations should be administered at least two weeks before their arrival to ensure efficacy. If you have any concerns or questions about these requirements, feel free to reach out to me before booking to see if Tiny Tails Lodge is the best fit for your pet . I prioritize the well-being and comfort of all my furry guests and am here to address any queries you may have.
When packing for your pet’s camp stay at Tiny Tails Lodge, please ensure that your pet arrives on a leash or in a carrier. If you don’t have a leash, one will be available for you to borrow. I recommend keeping your pet on their normal diet during their stay, so it’s best to bring your pet’s usual food, bagged and labeled per serving. If there are any differences in the meals, please make sure to label them accordingly.

For medications, there’s no additional charge for administration, and it’s essential to provide simple and clear instructions. Sending current written instructions along with the medication is highly encouraged. If your pet requires refrigerated medications, there’s a refrigerator available for storage.

You may also bring bedding (ideally machine washable), an article of your clothing, and your pet’s favorite toy or two. However, please refrain from bringing rawhides or other choking hazard toys and food bowls unless your pet relies on a specific type of bowl. Tiny Tails Lodge has various bowls available, including slow-feed bowls. Please understand that while I take every precaution to keep your pet’s belongings safe, I am not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Your pet’s well-being and happiness are my top priorities, and I’m committed to providing the highest level of care during their time at Tiny Tails Lodge. Your trust in me and your pet’s safety is of utmost importance, and I strive to make their stay a positive and stress-free experience.

In the case of any illness prior to boarding, it’s crucial to be transparent and disclose any suspected communicable health problems. Pets exhibiting such symptoms will be turned away to ensure the safety of both resident animals and other guests.

If you have any further questions or need clarification on what to pack for your pet’s stay, don’t hesitate to reach out to me. I strive to make your pet’s stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible at Tiny Tails Lodge!

I understand that your relationship with Tiny Tails Lodge doesn’t end when your pet leaves. I genuinely care about the whole experience and want to ensure your pet’s well-being even after their stay. If you have any concerns after arriving home, please keep me informed. Your feedback is valuable to me, and I want to address any questions or issues you may have.

Here are some post-stay tips to help your pet transition back to their usual routine:

Maintain Routine: Pets benefit from routine and familiarity, so try to get back into your usual schedule as quickly as possible. Consistency helps them feel more secure and can prevent unwanted behaviors upon returning home.

Eating Habits: Don’t worry if your pet eats or drinks a bit more or less than usual after boarding. I ensure that your pet is fed the agreed-upon food and has access to water constantly. Any changes in eating habits are typically temporary and rarely a cause for concern. I work hard to make them comfortable with their meals, and you can trust that I will keep you informed if I have any concerns.

Give Plenty of Rest: After an engaging stay, your pet may be tired upon returning home. Allow them plenty of space to rest and recuperate. It’s normal for pets to be a bit worn out, similar to how we feel after a busy vacation. They should return to their normal selves quickly. However, if you notice anything beyond what you are comfortable with, consult your vet.

Monitor Bowel Movements: While unpleasant, a little diarrhea after boarding is usually not a cause for concern. It can result from excitement at being reunited with you and your family and typically settles down in a few days. However, if your pet has prolonged or severe diarrhea or other worrisome symptoms, consult your vet. I take monitoring pet health seriously and will keep you informed if any issues arise during their stay. Additionally, if your pet has an upset tummy, feeding a bland diet to allow for a reset can be helpful.

Remember, I am here to support you and your pet every step of the way. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you need any assistance or have any concerns. I value your trust and strive to provide the best care for your beloved pet at Tiny Tails Lodge!

Taking a pet for boarding can be difficult. When we take free-spirited, and routine oriented species like a pet and expect them to immediately settle in we are setting ourselves up for failure. Many people don’t realize that the adjustment process can be just as unfamiliar with a pet sitter that comes to your home. Some pets refuse to eat, refuse to come out of hiding and may even refuse to use their familiar litter box. Learn More
In rare circumstances where home is truly best for pet, I will consider drop-in services for one family at a time within a 5 mile radius.

Yes! We offer Family Boarding for families with both a toy dog and a cat. This service allows your pets to stay together in a comfortable, shared space. When making a reservation, just let us know in the reservation portal that you’d like your dog and cat to be housed together, and we’ll take care of the rest!

For cats that prefer to stay away from other cats, we can house them in our doggy lodge, where they’ll be with only a few small dogs (maximum of four). This setup provides a calm, dog-friendly environment, which can be a great option for certain cats.
